Our products are exclusively manufactured in FDA registered facilities located in the United States. Each facility is verified cGMP compliant by a qualified 3rd party.
The enzymes in our products are sourced from North America, Europe and Japan.
Globally. We prefer to use herbs grown in the United States; however many herbs are only only available from other countries. Regardless of origin, each ingredient is independently verified to meet our specifications for identity, potency, and contaminant limits by a laboratory located in the United States. All ingredients and finished products meet the limits set by the United States Pharmacopeia (USP) for pesticide, microbial pathogen and heavy metal (lead, cadmium, arsenic and mercury) contamination.
We do not list enzyme activity on our labels, our blends are proprietary and list only the cumulative weight of the blend. Each of our products has competitive or market-leading enzyme activity which has been specified, verified, and manufactured using the appropriate unit of activity prescribed in the USP (United States Pharmacopeia) Food Chemicals Codex (FCC).
Deriving nutrients from whole foods instead of using chemical derivatives and isolated compounds just makes sense to us.
In most cases, products are considered stable at full potency for two years from the date of manufacture. Formulas which contain Probiotics or Catalase are generally stable for one year past the date of manufacture and formulas containing rice bran is eighteen months. Store the bottle in a cool, dry place with the lid tightly closed and away from children. Enzymes will activate within the capsule if exposed to moisture and warm temperatures.
All of the whole foods and herbs used in Loomis Enzymes® products are non-GMO.
We always prefer organic sources; however some herbs and whole foods are simply not available in an organic variety.
Hypromellose or hydroxypropyl methylcellulose. Also known as HPMC, it is a plant source polymer extracted from cellulose fiber and has GRAS status. It contains natural ingredients. The colors, textures and weights of natural ingredients may vary due to different growing conditions. These variations are no different than the color variations you see in fruits and vegetables at the grocery store.

Most people notice a difference in digestive discomfort and symptoms within a few days, if not within a few meals.
Our digestive products are generally labelled to supplement a normal adult meal with approximately 400 to 800 calories. If eating less or more, the dosage may need to be adjusted. Consult your healthcare practitioner to determine the safest dose.
Although raw foods bring their own enzymes to the party, supplementing with microbial enzymes may provide additional support.
If the snack is highly processed and has little to no enzyme content, supplementing with enzymes may be beneficial.
Taking an enzyme supplement at the beginning of a meal is the most effective use; however, taking it during or after the meal will still assist in the digestive process.
Consult your healthcare practitioner to help you determine if changing the dose or choosing a product more appropriate for your diet would be beneficial.
You may choose to open the capsule and empty the contents on your pet's food prior to eating. Always consult with your veteranarian prior to giving your pet a dietary supplement. Especially one designed for people!

Multiple products may be taken at the same time; however, taking more than 3 or 4 different supplements at the same time is rarely a good idea. When introducing new products to your diet, take each away from other supplements. This will allow you to identify the source of any positive or negative effects.
You may open the capsules and mix with water or another clear liquid. Use of a medicine spoon or eye dropper may be helpful. Always rinse your mouth thoroughly with water afterwards.
Most people will not have any difficulties associated with the use of enzymes derived from microbial sources. Highly sensitive individuals should consult their healthcare practitioner prior to use.
